The menu offers a well-rounded mix of classic Mexican favorites, from street-style tacos and hearty burritos to freshly made quesadillas and crisp nachos. One of the standout dishes has to be the al pastor tacos-the pork is marinated perfectly, tender and slightly caramelized on the edges, topped with fresh pineapple and cilantro that give each bite a bright, zesty punch. Beyond the tacos, the grilled carne asada and chicken options are juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right, making it clear that the kitchen takes pride in its ingredients and preparation.

The service at Taqueria La Plaza adds to the relaxed, friendly vibe. Staff are approachable, quick to offer recommendations, and attentive without hovering, making it easy to enjoy the meal at your own pace. Reviews from locals often highlight how consistent the quality is, whether you’re dining in or grabbing a quick takeout, and the portions are generous enough that you leave satisfied without feeling stuffed. Customers frequently mention that the freshness of the ingredients really shines through, especially in the salsas and toppings, which are prepared daily and provide a nice balance of spice and flavor without overpowering the main dishes.

What People's Say About Place

First time eating here today we were just passing by on our way home thinking about having good lunch and order for to go as well. We had tacos, mine was the special (with everything) pork al pastor hubby wanted the birria tacos but sadly they only had it for Friday. So he only had regular basic pork al pastor. Both were really good. For to go I ordered chicken burrito (while I write this review my son didn’t have that burrito yet so I can’t say it’s good or not lol but I have faith that will be good), flautas was good, 4 tamales and bistec ala mexicana. The bistec ala mexicana was with red tomato sauce all over I wasn’t expecting that. Usually when I order similar menu from different place it was just sautéed onions and grilled jalapenos on top and no sauce. Anyway the taste wasn’t that bad but the bistec was a bit thin and hard to chew. All workers was friendly also price is reasonable.

Feels like a real Mexican street spot — fun, laid-back, and full of flavor! One amazing woman runs the whole place. Horchata? No cinnamon, nice and smooth. The food? Simple. But the cabeza and lengua tacos? So basic, yet SO GOOD. Green salsa’s a bit mild, red one needs more kick, but those tacos are fire. Must stop if you’re a taco fan!

I Like this place. They have very good Mexican Food. Nice and flavorful. The prices are very good. Not expensive at all. Its well worth a trip

Food was delicious!! It's a bit chilly inside if you decide to dine in. Ordered taco de lengua & de al pastor. Had a Huarache de bistec. They also have pan you can grab.
